About the Opportunity

To help us achieve this we are seeking a detail-drive Grants Officer to help research and source funding opportunities, manage reporting, and support award-winning projects. If you love writing, juggling deadlines, and collaborating across teams—this is your chance to shine!
We are looking for someone who has strong attention to detail, is highly organised, and has the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will have demonstrated experience in writing reports, enjoy working to tight project deadlines and able to work with a number of competing deadlines.
On a typical day this role will:
- Assist in researching, sourcing, preparing and applying for grant applications.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor and write milestone and project completion reports.
- Ensure compliance of Funding Deed deliverables, such as quarterly reporting, coordinating invoices, and organising government signage.
- Identify and support opportunities to showcase Council's work as a regional leader via writing Awards submissions.
- Meticulous filing of applications, funding agreements, reports and correspondence.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders across government, Council and the community.
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting in the range of $87,269 to $97,681 depending on skills and experience
Performance based increase based on exceeding goals available after 12 months.
