Senior Payroll Officer – Permanent Part-Time

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to take ownership of end-to-end payroll functions for a workforce of 500+ employees across multiple sites. This is a permanent part-time role offering stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a real difference.

What You’ll Do:

· Manage full-function payroll processing for over 500 employees

· Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, awards, EBAs and internal policies

· Interpret aged care awards and entitlements accurately

· Handle payroll queries and support HR and Finance teams with reporting

· Process superannuation, PAYG, salary packaging, leave entitlements, and terminations

· Work with external auditors during audits and ensure payroll integrity

About You:

· Proven experience in a senior payroll role, ideally within aged care, health, or not-for-profit sectors

· Strong understanding of complex payroll environments (500+ staff)

· Sound knowledge of current payroll legislation, Fair Work etc

· Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
