Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end processing across multiple states for a large volume of employees
• Managing payroll compliance and award interpretation
• Processing superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax
• Handling new starters, terminations, and leave calculations
• Assisting with payroll reporting and reconciliations
• Responding to employee queries in a timely and professional manner
• Working closely with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow

About You:

• Proven experience in a similar senior payroll role (high-volume processing essential)
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and modern awards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently
• Experience with large ERP systems (e.g. Chris21, Preceda, Micropay or similar)
• Availability to start immediately or on short notice
