We’re currently seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team in Perth CBD Head Office.

About the Role:

As Payroll Officer, you’ll support the end-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of payroll operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Process accurate and timely fortnightly payroll runs.

Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, change of conditions, adjustments and terminations.

Review timesheets and other information to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Support the accurate processing of superannuation contributions.

Respond to payroll-related queries from staff and stakeholders.

Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

Contribute to improvements in data capture and payroll processing efficiencies.

What You'll Bring:

Proven experience in a payroll role, preferably in a medium to large organisation.

Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a team-first mindset.

A proactive, flexible attitude and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.

Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables.

Experience with award interpretation is highly regarded.
