We are a Chartered Accounting Firm located in Subiaco seeking an intermediate tax accountant to join our friendly dynamic team.

We are looking for a talented intermediate accountant with a desire to learn and be part of our team, that is ambitious and want to make a difference to client outcomes. The ideal candidate needs to be a great communicator.

The Role

· Prepare Financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships

· Exposure to SMSF is also available

· Assist with Income tax and accounting advice

· Prepare BAS, IAS, payroll tax and FBT returns

· Liaise with ATO and ASIC

· Setting up new structure for clients

· Reviewing client work and liaising with clients

· Tax research and advisory work

· Work with and have direct contact with a diverse client base across a broad range of industry sectors.

Skills & Experience

Completed a bachelor’s degree with an accounting major

Have done tax as part of their degree, or any post grad tax courses

2 years’ experience in a similar role

High level of attention to detail and communication skills

Excellent time management and strong organisational skills

Be able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Have had exposure to Xero and Xero Practice Management software.

Australian work rights essential.
