The Opportunity
As a part of the Client Services Team, the Customer Service Officer (CSO) is responsible for managing and developing relationships with new and existing clients, providing customer service excellence and compliance integrity through the environmental certificate creation process. This person will play an integral role contributing to the overall sustainability of Green Energy Trading (GET), working closely with other members of the high-performing CSO team and wider business to deliver gold standard compliance outcomes for customers.
The CSO will provide clients with guidance & training specific to the renewable energy certificate they are working in. GET ensures for our clients, an investigative, problem-solving and personal approach to compliance with regulatory requirements.
CSO responsibilities:
Monitor & maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
Reduce risk and enhance our clients’ experience
Processing, submission and investigation of certificate creations across a number of different renewable energy schemes.
Resolve issues for clients and help with client enquiries regarding our online platforms and requests for information.
Reviewing compliance documentation and coordinating with clients to ensure all required documents are collected.
Answer incoming calls to the office and help clients with their enquiries and build strong relationships with key customers.
Updating and maintaining department processing manuals and contribute to process improvements.

What we are looking for:
We know this is a very exciting opportunity, but there are a few things we need from you:
Keen eye for detail
Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills
Identify and mitigate risks.
Monitor & maintain compliance with regulatory requirements across multiple renewable energies schemes
Collaborative working style, with ability to work independently and as a part of a team
Keep records and systems up to date with excellent data entry & administrative skills.
Tertiary qualification is an advantage
Communication on phone with clients & via email
Strong use of initiative and analytical skills when resolving problems with customers and team members.
Tech Savvy and has an understanding of the Microsoft Suite of applications.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in terms of compliance, governance and risk management.
The ability to explore client needs through listening and having consultative conversations.
The ability to plan, manage and prioritise your time.
Be comfortable with talking on the phone and meeting face to face.
