About Our Client

Our client is a non-for-profit organisation passionate and dedicated to providing a world-leading linen hire and laundry service throughout the greater Brisbane Region. They are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Trade Assistant to join their team in a permanent full-time basis located in Banyo.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Mechanical Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting Fitter and Electricians with scheduled maintenance, servicing and repairs on industrial laundry machines. You will be required to work Monday to Friday on a rotating AM/PM roster with daily overtime available - 4:30am to 1:00pm and 1:00pm to 10:00pm. You will be required to assist with the following, working on motors, timing belts, conveyor belts;

· Attending machinery breakdowns

· Repairs

· Overhaul

· Maintenance

Requirements

· Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport

· Previous experience as an Electrical/Mechanical Trade Assistant

· Previous experience working in production or manufacturing environment

· Pass criminal check and ability to obtain a QLD Disability Worker Screening Card (NDIS)
