As a Mobile Auto Electrician Trade Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to install various types of IVMS and driver behaviour hardware, as well as diagnose and repair electrical problems, on a variety of vehicles/Plant. This role requires traveling to clients' locations, so a valid driver's license is essential.

Responsibilities

Installation of IVMS and driver fatigue monitoring hardware and cameras

Check and program the equipment

Diagnosing Electrical Issues, use specialized diagnostic equipment to identify and fix electrical problems in vehicles.

Repair or replace faulty electrical parts as needed, including sensors, fuses, and wiring.

Perform routine checks and maintenance on vehicle electrical systems to prevent future issues.

Provide excellent service to our customers, explaining the equipment installed if required

Provide on-the-spot electrical repairs or adjustments for breakdowns

Be available to travel at short notice

You will be required to work away from home regularly for variable periods of time

Qualifications

Previous experience as an Auto Electrician Trade assistant or in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, excellent problem-solving abilities, and strong customer service skills.

A valid WA driver's license.

Work Environment

This job involves regular travel mostly within WA but nationally at times, you must be prepared to work away from home on occasion. You'll often be working in various weather conditions and will need to be comfortable lifting heavy equipment.
