ANIMAL CARER - Permanent hours: Casual rates 30-40 hours per week

Boutique Pet Resort in Tynong, South East of Melbourne requires a motivated, energetic person to join our team. Our resort provides a safe, comfortable, exceptional care and enjoyable environment for our canine guests during their stay with us.

Position Requirements

Feeding, medicating, exercising, health checks and bathing of dogs in our facility

Cleaning all accommodation, play areas and other areas to the highest standard of cleaniness and hygiene

Monitoring the health and behaviour of dogs and reporting concerns to senior staff

Interact and engage with dogs in play activities

What we are looking for

Previous experience working in an animal care role, ideally in a boarding kennel or daycare facility or veterinary clinic

Must be available for weekends, public holidays, school holidays on a rotational roster

A genuine love, desire and compassion for animals, with the ability to understand and respond to their needs

Strong communication and customer service skills enabling to build rapport with both dogs and their owners

A positive, energetic attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as part of our team

A valid driver's licence, and be strong and fit with the ability to lift 20kgs
