As we launch the next chapter of our growth – a custom-built van to offer transport for

our day care dogs – we’re looking for a calm, capable, dog-savvy person to join us.

In this dual role, you’ll:

● Safely transport dogs to and from day care

● Support our Flemington team with enrichment, play groups, rest time, and

cleaning

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Dog Transport Duties:

● Safely drive company van to pick up and drop off dogs from client homes

● Ensure dogs are securely and comfortably transported in van cages.

● Maintain punctuality and clear communication with the day care team

● Represent company professionally in the community

Day Care Duties:

● Supervise group play, ensuring all dogs are safe, engaged, and supported

● Observe and interpret dog body language, intervening early to manage

behaviour

● Write fun and informative daily report cards about each dog’s day

● Take clear, engaging photos and videos for our daily updates and socials

● Deliver structured enrichment activities.

● Maintain cleanliness throughout the facility: mopping, laundry, tidying, etc.

● Follow all safety, cleaning, and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

● Full Australian unrestricted driver’s licence (manual not required)

● Police check (or willingness to obtain)

● Confident with dogs of all breeds and sizes

● Able to stay calm, kind, and consistent in a fast-paced environment

● Comfortable driving in peak traffic and navigating across Melbourne suburbs

● Strong communication and team collaboration skills

● Physically fit – this is an active, on-your-feet-all-day role

● Experience in a dog-related role (day care, kennels, vet, rescue etc.) preferred

● Knowledge of canine behaviour and body language highly regarded

● Basic photography or social media content experience a bonus

● Ability to work rotating roster, Monday to Friday.
