We’re not just after dog lovers—we’re looking for someone with proven experience handling dogs in a professional or structured setting. This is a pack walking role, not solo strolling—so you'll need to be confident managing groups of off-lead dogs in dynamic outdoor environments. If you’re calm under pressure, understand dog body language, and thrive in an active, outdoor role, we’d love to hear from you.

About Us
We’re a values-led business focused on positive reinforcement, warmth, and building genuine connections—with dogs and their families. We operate mainly in Northcote, Carlton, Thornbury, Kew, Fairfield, Alphington, Ivanhoe, Fitzroy, Fitzroy North and Clifton Hill.

The Role

Safely transport friendly, social dogs in a company vehicle to and from local parks.

Lead group walks using force-free, reward-based methods.

Actively supervise and engage with dogs during off-lead play.

Practice basic manners and reinforce calm behaviour.

Communicate clearly with clients via text and share photo updates.

Ensure cleanliness and follow local council regulations.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience handling dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments.

Is confident driving, parking and navigating in inner Melbourne.

Can work independently and manages their time well

Communicates professionally and warmly via text, phone and in-person.

Is reliable, calm under pressure, and has a ‘can-do’ attitude.

Lives locally or within easy reach of our service area.

Essential Requirements:

Current Australian driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Smart phone with data and photo-sharing capability.

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.

Availability for 15–20 hours per week, Thursday & Friday with the potential to take on other days.

Relevant training or knowledge in dog behaviour

Has a current ABN for invoicing purposes
