Animal Attendant - Full Time

$29 - $35/hr + fuel card

We’re excited to be partnering with one of our trusted clients in the pet care industry to help them find their next experienced Animal Attendant.

For over 5 years, they’ve been delivering premium in-home pet care across Sydney’s Hills District, with one clear mission: to always put animal welfare first.

As demand for their services grows, they’re now looking for a compassionate and experienced full-time Animal Attendant to join the team. This Job Is For You If...

You’ve hands-on experience caring for animals (e.g. vet nurse, kennel hand, animal attendant).

You want full-time, Monday–Friday hours doing work that truly matters

You’re reliable, kind, and confident in handling everything from tiny terriers to XL breeds

You live local to the Hills District and are happy working solo on the road

Your Role as a Trusted Carer:
You’ll be the smiling face their clients (and pets!) look forward to seeing. From enrichment walks to in-home care, you’ll lead with empathy and professionalism and set the standard for junior staff along the way.

You’ll Be Doing Things Like:
🐾 Visiting pets in their homes for walks, feeding, enrichment and health checks
🐾 Walking no more than 3 small dogs or 1 large dog at a time
📱 Sending updates to clients through our app (photos, videos, summaries)
🫶 Building trust with pets and peace of mind for their humans
🧼 Keeping environments clean, safe, and stress-free for all animals

You’ll Nail This Role If You Have…

Have 1+ year of experience in a similar animal care role

Hold a Cert II in Animal Studies, Vet Nursing, or similar

Have a reliable car, a current driver’s licence, and full working rights

Are available Monday to Friday and during peak periods (e.g. Christmas)

Are confident, calm, and physically fit (this is an active, hands-on role)

Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and teammates
