Dogtropolis Doggy Daycare is Melbourne's NEWEST doggy daycare centre! Delivering human standards of care, exceptional customer service and lots of mental stimulation and physical play for dogs of all breeds and sizes. We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Doggy Daycare Attendants. If you have a love for dogs and a knack for providing exceptional care, we want to hear from you!

Our Doggy Daycare is open Monday to Friday 7.30am-6.30pm and Saturday 8am-4pm.

Positions will be a casual basis with perks for the right candidates.

Please do not apply if you do not have experience in a dog daycare, kennel, veterinary, zoology, training, grooming or sitting role.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and interact with dogs in a daycare setting

Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care

Monitor group play and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe environment

Administer medications and follow special care instructions for individual dogs

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the daycare facility

Requirements:

Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting

Strong understanding of dog behaviour and body language

Ability to handle multiple dogs of various sizes and temperaments

Excellent communication skills with both dogs and humans

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Certificate in Animal Studies or other relevant certification admired

Certificate in pet CPR and first aid preferred but not essential
