About the Position
This role is a full time permanent position where you will work as part of a small team operating plant and equipment aimed at controlling invasive woody weeds and fuel loads in our Rural Roadsides.
About You
You will have good native plant knowledge and understanding of woody vegetation clearance, herbicide application and ability to operate small plant such as mowers, chainsaws and brush cutters. A strong work health and safety focus to minimize risk and injury will be a high priority for you. If you are motivated, independent, fit and love the outdoors then this will be a good opportunity.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Certificate 3 in Conservation Land Management, Horticulture or Arboriculture is required.
- Experience in bushland management with a focus on weed control would be an advantage.
- An MR truck license is essential.
- Safety tickets including Work zone Traffic Management, White Card, First Aid, and ChemCert training would be an advantage.
