Disputes Lawyer (Government) | Billable 5.5 day

Join a leading national disputes team working at the forefront of complex litigation, regulatory matters, and government advisory work. Based in Canberra, you’ll be part of a highly collaborative and growing practice with the opportunity to work across jurisdictions and alongside senior litigators with decades of experience.

You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of matters, including government disputes, investigations, administrative decision-making, and insurance-backed litigation. You’ll also contribute to strategic representation before integrity commissions and high-stakes constitutional and regulatory challenges.

What we’re looking for:

2–4 years’ PAE in disputes or investigations (experience with government clients highly regarded)

Excellent drafting, analytical and research skills

Strong organisational ability and confidence managing work under pressure

A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from industry-recognised experts

Clear, effective communication and the ability to build trusted relationships
