Our client is a large not-for-profit provider with residential aged care and retirement living homes spread across New South Wales. They are looking for an experienced aged care clinician to join their team on a permanent full-time capacity at their medium sized home on the South Coast of NSW.

About the opportunity:

• Permanent full time, Mon - Fri.
• Salary in the range of $125k + super + nfp salary packaging.
• Reporting directly into the Facility Manager you will have clinical oversight of a medium-sized home.
• Guide and mentor nurses and care staff.
• Aged Care experience is essential. Unfortunately, candidates with exclusively hospital/home care backgrounds can not be considered.

Key responsibilities:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments to ensure high-quality care for residents.
• Collaborating with residents, families, and staff to honour and support residents' individual goals and preferences.
• Developing strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
• Leading and mentoring care staff to deliver personalised, person-centred care.
• Overseeing medication management in line with clinical best practices and legislative standards.
• Supporting village operations and contributing to ongoing quality and service improvements.
• Driving team performance to meet budget targets while fostering a culture of excellence.

The essentials:

• Current, unrestricted AHPRA Registration.
• Experience working within an Aged Care setting within Australia/NZ.
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership position in aged care.
