About the Role

As part of our Shared Services team, you’ll support the Morton Group. You’ll manage financial records, liaise with stakeholders of varying financial acumen, and contribute to continuous improvement in accounting processes.

This role offers scope for growth and development for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Manage ancillary revenue streams, invoicing, and debtor control

Oversee sales settlements and commission invoicing

Perform daily bank reconciliations

Weekly vendor payments and general ledger ownership

Month-end processes, reporting, and balance sheet reconciliation

Assist with budgeting and audit preparation

Collaborate with Accounts Payable and drive process improvements

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance

CA or CPA qualification highly desirable

Strong accounting and management costing skills

Experience in Australian businesses (real estate preferred)

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel

Solid understanding of GST, FBT, and Australian tax principles
