The Role

Reporting to the Financial Accountant the Finance Officer is responsible for supporting the finance function across daily transactions, reconciliations and processing of weekly payroll.

Duties include but aren't limited to:

• Preparing and processing weekly payroll, including maintenance of employee documents and monthly reconciliations
• Accurately enter invoices, match to purchase orders and goods receipts, and reconcile supplier, bank, and credit card statements.
• Support AR aging reports, build strong customer relationships, and follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
• Assist with intercompany transactions, general ledger maintenance, and day-to-day financial record keeping.
• Contribute to the end-of-month process by ensuring accurate reconciliations and financial data.

About You

• Previous experience in accounting role with demonstrated knowledge of payroll processing
• Proficiency with Excel and Accounting software's (MYOB highly desired)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A pro-active attitude with the ability to collaborate and be adaptable
