About the role
Cobra Waste Solutions, is a leading provider of waste recycling, and is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team in Yennora, NSW. This full-time opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for mechanical engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

What you'll be doing

1. Assemble, install, and maintain a variety of industrial machinery and equipment

2. Performing operational and routine maintenance of machines and tools, and diagnosing and repairing faults

3. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly

4. Perform precision fitting, aligning, and adjusting of mechanical components

5. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance

6. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all safety protocols

7. Must have experience in welding and fabrication for multiple tasks

What we're looking for

1. Formal trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter.

2. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar role within the Trades & Services industry

3. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics

5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

6. Effective communication skills to collaborate with the engineering team and liaise with clients

7. Commitment to workplace safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
