About the Role:
- Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to clinical trial participants across inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory settings, using expert judgment and evidence-based practice.
- Lead the end-to-end coordination of clinical trial pharmacy activities, including staff training, protocol verification, ordering, dispensing, accountability documentation, invoicing, and sponsor site visits.
- Drive the development and review of clinical trial protocols and electronic chemotherapy care plans, ensuring accuracy and alignment with best practice standards.
- Champion continuous improvement by initiating quality and safety initiatives, supporting trial-related audits, and contributing to data collection and reporting.
- Mentor and train pharmacists, interns, and technicians in clinical trials pharmacy, while actively engaging with stakeholders and providing expert advice on investigational drug processes.
About You:
- Registered Pharmacist with AHPRA with no restrictions on scope of practise, committed to the values of St Vincent's Health Australia and available for rostered weekend and on-call work.
- Brings advanced clinical expertise in oncology, haematology, and investigational drug services, with a strong understanding of clinical trials governance and regulatory requirements.
- A skilled communicator with a proven ability to develop high-quality clinical guidelines, education materials, and business documentation.
- A collaborative leader who fosters a positive team culture, mentors peers, and champions innovation and continuous improvement.
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving skills and experience managing complex workloads, driving quality initiatives, and delivering service improvements.
