About the Role
Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing high-level administrative support demonstrating a high level of self-initiative, flexibility, attention to detail, autonomy and dependability.
Administrative Assistant will be required to liaise with visitors, staff and residents of the college. The incumbent will present a professional image and create a welcoming, warm and positive impression. As an initial point of contact for many key stakeholders, the Administrative assistant will deliver high-quality customer service.
Key Accountabilities
Provide high-quality and timely administrative support that meets the day-to-day requirements of the college
Manage the delivery of operational tasks associated with reception and administration
Assist with the organisation of college events, including catered functions and workshops.

Selection Criteria
Proven ability to work under pressure and managing competing tasks
Must be competent to work autonomously and have sound judgement and decision-making skills.
Advanced knowledge of office procedures and practices with the ability to identify and implement improvements
Experience and proficiency in the use of Google and Microsoft Office Suites at a proficient level
Demonstrated experience of contemporary office procedures and practices.
Demonstrated experience in a customer service role
Mandatory Criteria
Working with Children Blue Card the successful candidate will require a paid Blue Card before commencement as per the No Card, No Start policy developed by Queensland Government
Current National Police Check (or ability to obtain one)
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience in the collegiate accommodation facilities would be considered advantageous.
Knowledge of StarRez systems would be advantageous but not essential.
Current Driver’s Licence

Job Type: Permanent Part-time (20hrs per week- 4hrs per day. Monday to Friday)
Salary: Clerical Award - Level 2
