The Strategic Communications and Engagement, Executive Assistant will provide high level administrative and executive support to the Executive Director, Strategic Communications and Engagement. This role will also provide support and advice in the areas of ministerial briefings and correspondence, undertake projects and research, provide Board support, and assist with Freedom of Information applications, to support the Executive Services team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Executive Director, Executive Director, Strategic Communications and Engagement and Director, Executive Services by undertaking minor projects and research, preparing, and coordinating briefing notes, drafting letters and word processing.

Manage the emails of the Executive Director, Strategic Communications and Engagement and the Director, Executive Services, including actioning where appropriate and filing.

Responsible for coordinating the SATC Complaints Process, including step escalation, record management, and closure, ensuring agency-wide visibility and compliance.

Assist the Director of Executive Service with managing SATC Board Meetings and Board regional trips.

Organise intra/interstate and overseas travel for Executive Director, Strategic Communications and Engagement, including approvals, flights, itineraries, accommodation requirements, meeting arrangements, hospitality engagements and other associated requirements.

Contribute to the provision of briefings to the Executive Director, Strategic Communications and Engagement and Director, Executive Services, including completing agendas, paper and schedules and undertaking minor research activities.

This full-time position is offered for a 12-month term, on a non-executive contract, with a salary classification of ASO4.
