The details…

Here at our Ferntree Gully head office depot we are looking to welcome a positive, energetic team leader to our fun and welcoming afternoon Production Team.

• Work 5 x 5-7 hour shifts per week
• Sunday to Thursday roster
• Shift starts from 12.30pm Sunday and from 1.30pm Monday to Thursday.

You have a strong understanding of food production and correct food handling procedures, and the experience and ability to successfully lead and mentor the team of up to 12 during the shift.

Please note

• Due to the variety and volumes of our products, candidates should be aware that working with certain food products, e.g. meats, dairy or gluten-based items is a requirement of this role.
• Payrate listed is for an adult 21+ years old and will be less for younger applicants.

The role requirements…

To be successful in the role, you can offer the following

• Safety first - we are all responsible!
• Team leader/Supervisor experience in a food manufacturing setting to lead, organise and support our friendly team of up to 12
• Complete start of day set up - preparing assembly line, machinery etc. Full training provided
• Train new staff
• Data entry
• Competently (and without assistance) lift 10-20kg regularly
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, twisting, stretching and reaching forward frequently, without discomfort
• Perform repetitive work while adhering to quality and safety standards
• Reliable and punctual commitment to the opportunity
• You are a strong team player with a 'can do' attitude
• Great communication skills at all levels and comfortable with numbers and computers
