About the role

Coastal Milk Supply is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility in Mandurah, WA. As a fulltime role, you will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring the efficient and effective movement of goods at a multi site operation. This is a crucial position that plays a key part in delivering our high-quality dairy products to our customers across a large area in the southern coridore of perth, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

Directly supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse and driver operatives to ensure all daily tasks and targets are met

Monitor and optimise warehouse and drivers processes and workflows to maximise productivity and efficiency

Plan, schedule and assign work duties to the team, providing clear direction and leadership

Implement and maintain effective stock management and inventory control systems

Identify and action opportunities for continuous improvement within warehouse operations

Ensure all health, safety and quality standards are upheld across warehouse activities

Provide coaching, training and development to support the growth and performance of the team

Communicate regularly with the broader operations team to address any issues or concerns

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a warehouse team leader or supervisory role, ideally within the FMCG or logistics industry

Proven ability to effectively manage and motivate a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Excellent understanding of warehouse management principles, including inventory control, stock rotation and space optimisation

Hands-on experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency

Proficient in using warehouse management software and other relevant technologies

Commitment to upholding the highest standards of health, safety and quality

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
