Riverston Tea Rooms is seeking a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Front of House superstar to join our team on a casual basis.

This is a customer-facing role in a busy, welcoming café environment. You’ll be the face of our tea rooms, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience with excellent service and a warm smile.

We offer a regular fortnightly roster (no split shifts) in a supportive team with the opportunity to work in one of Rockhampton’s most-loved venues.

Key responsibilities:

Greeting and seating guests with a friendly, professional manner

Taking orders, serving food and beverages, clearing tables

Operating point-of-sale and handling cash & EFTPOS

Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the café

Working effectively as part of a team under busy conditions

About You:

Passionate about hospitality and delivering great customer service

Friendly, reliable and able to work under pressure

Previous experience in a Front of House or hospitality role (preferred, but not essential)

Must be available to work weekends

Able to follow a regular fortnightly roster (sample: Tuesdays, every second Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every second Sunday)
