The opportunity

Ra Restaurant and Bar are seeking an enthusiastic Front of House all rounder to join our vibrant team in Sunshine Beach, Queensland. This part-time role will see you working as part of our front-of-house team, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the welcoming atmosphere of our popular beachside venue.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Taking food and beverage orders and communicating these to the kitchen and bar staff
• Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely fashion
• Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
• Providing knowledgeable recommendations on our menu and specials
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the dining areas
• Handling cash and processing payments accurately
• Assisting with opening and closing duties as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar front-of-house role, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• A friendly, enthusiastic and professional manner
• Good numeracy skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and evenings as required
