About You
You’re an experienced and motivated Principal Town Planner (or Senior Planner ready to step up), looking for a role where you can lead, deliver and grow.

• 10+ years of experience in urban and regional planning, ideally with experience in consultancy.
• A deep understanding of the NSW planning system (LEPs, SEPPs, DCPs, rezoning and DA processes).
• Proven ability to manage complex planning projects from strategy through to approvals.
• A commercial mindset and experience contributing to business development.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for mentoring and guiding a small team.
• Confidence in managing clients, stakeholders and representing the business externally.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is necessary.

About the Role
We're on the lookout for a Principal Town Planner to lead and grow a capable planning team across Sydney. In this pivotal leadership role, you will:

• Cultivate strong relationships with all essential project stakeholders.
• Attend client meetings as needed.
• Champion and implement cutting-edge initiatives.
• Contribute to the financial planning of new projects through cost estimation and pricing support.
• Collaborate with management to ensure precise understanding of project design drawings and specifications.
• Manage and confirm the work scope of all subcontractors.

What You’ll Need
