Town Planner

MJM Consulting Engineers are an established, leading local Engineering Company seeking a Town Planner to join our growing business.

Remuneration will depend on level of experience. If successful you will be joining an established local company in the Riverina area.

Duties of the position;

- Provide Town Planning advice on policies, legislation and regulations.

- Preparation and lodgement of Development Applications.

- Preparation of Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements and Planning Proposal documents.

- Communications with clients and approving organisations.

- Liaison with subconsultants and subcontractors.

Skills and experience required;

- Qualification in Town Planning or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Town Planning role.

- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and the ability to apply the legislation.

- Attention to detail and proven ability to write high quality reports and submissions.

- Professional attitude, motivated and friendly personality. Confident and articulate with outstanding communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

- Ability to project manage complex planning processes

- Excellent time management skills

- Ability to work in a team environment
