At Thynk Cafe, our team in the Kitchen is the key ingredient and we are looking for driven and passionate Chefs and Cooks to build on our current team.

Full time and casual roles available with access to flexible hours. This really is your dream job!

THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU IF YOU;

Have a positive personality and love to be part of a great team.

Can produce the menu items with quality, interest and competitiveness.

Ensure all food orders and menu items are completed accurately, consistently and in an efficient manner in a small working environment.

Responsible for orders and maintaining good stock and waste control.

Experienced in breakfast, lunch and dinner menu development with a minimum of 2 years experience in cafe setting or similar.

Hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food and applicant holds current food safety certificate or willingness to obtain.

Excellent interpersonal communication & customer service skills.

Open 6 days - Monday to Saturday - NO NIGHTS & NO SUNDAYS

Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm, Saturdays 7am to 2.30pm

We are a great dedicated small team with a passion for the hospitality industry and the service we provide to our customer.

Thynk Newcastle is an iconic, award winning building in Beresfield, housing home building selection studios over 3 floors. The beautifully designed cafe + bar is situated on the ground floor and services the surrounding businesses, suburbs as well as Thynk Showroom customers.
