This is an APS4 equivalent level - your administrative support skills will be put to the test as you apply them to the specialist area of generalist HR delivery.

Supporting a small federal government agency's HR team, this newly created position will sit across the three key HR functions - floating where needed to support your fellow HR teammates.

Those three functions are busy and in an exciting state of change. Yes, they have all the usual BAU HR activities for you to assist with. But they also have a meaty HR project that will provide you with the type of career-defining exposure to HR transformation that very few will get to encounter throughout their whole HR career.

The finer details?

We know exactly what we are looking for here:

• a recent graduate in HR studies supported by professional HR work experience - but not deep into your career, this is an APS 4 equivalent role
• ideally generalist HR exposure, ability to jump between the different HR functions and provide confident support as required
• someone comfortable with ambiguity, changing goalposts and managing uncertainty
• experience working 'in the grey'
• someone positive and upbeat who knows when to laugh, knows when to work, and is confident enough to run with things without support

The role pays between $49 - $51 per hour plus super. The initial length of labour hire contract will be 6 months - the rest is up to you! We are aiming for a mid-August commencement.

Finally, you will need to be an Australian citizen to be eligible to apply. No clearance is required, but you will need to obtain a police check prior to commencement.
