About Us
Wounded Heroes Australia is a national charity dedicated to providing crisis support to current and former Australian Defence Force personnel and their families. We assist with urgent needs like housing, food, and utilities, and support long-term wellbeing through training, employment, and community engagement programs.
Our Veteran Centres offer both Op Shops and Jim’s Café which are more than retail spaces—they’re welcoming community hubs that raise funds and offer purpose. In addition, through Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW), we create training environments to help people gain practical skills in retail, warehousing, and hospitality, helping them move towards stable employment.
