Café Supervisor

The North Lakes Hotel including Boardwalk Cafe are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and high motivated café supervisor to join and lead a great team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing casual staff, supporting the café manager, and providing great customer service while being professional and reliable.

With an outgoing personality and visible presence on the floor, you will ensure the smooth operation of the day-to-day service to ensure complete guest satisfaction. This is a hands-on role and requires you to lead by example. The position is permanent fulltime.

The successful applicant will demonstrate and have the following:

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a restaurant management role.
• Commitment to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Experience in a very busy environment.
• The ability to manage staff.
• Innovation and drive to continue revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Strong knowledge of reservation booking systems and point of sale.
• The ability to challenge, inspire and motivate our team to be leaders within the hospitality industry.

Job role

• Reporting to the café manager
• Working a rotating roster over 7 days including weekends and public holidays
• Customer service for café operations
• Coffee and food preparation
• Opening and closing the café when required
