Housekeeping Manager - Hybrid Role

We are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in a hybrid role, combining traditional housekeeping leadership duties with the flexibility to support front office operations as required.

As a Housekeeping Manager you will be responsible for ensuring suites are turned around as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will work closely with your General manager to maintain the high standard of appearance that is required, this includes in the suites, public area’s and back of house. You will work in a professional environment which includes a clear career progression pathway.

Cross training will be provided to adhere to the Front Office operational task to assist when required.

Your key responsibilities

Daily quality check on standards and cleanliness of guest rooms

Having a hands on approach to the role and supporting our team on the floors

Coordinate and supervise contracted staff

Coordination of workforce to meet daily deadlines

Delivering efficient preparation, cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms in accordance with Hotel standards and guest expectations

Effective time management capabilities with a methodical management style

Attend to guest inquiries and requests

Ordering and managing linen stocks from suppliers

Ordering and managing cleaning supplies and amenities

Monitoring and managing spring cleans in our rooms inventory

Regulating costing and cleaning turn around time from our contractors

What We’re Looking For:

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or serviced apartment environment.

Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.

Ability to adapt between housekeeping and front office tasks with professionalism.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the business, including weekends and public holidays if required.

Experience with PMS systems (preferred but not essential – training provided).
