Altaira is seeking an EN or RN for a Clinical & Recruitment Coordinator to join our team for a fulltime position (Monday to Friday) in Melbourne. In this role, you will take responsibility for recruiting and training our clinical and care workforce, ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients across aged care.

About You:

As an ideal candidate, you will currently be registered with AHPRA as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse and possess a deep commitment to mentoring and training graduate staff in the field of aged care. Previous experience in training and education within an aged care environment would be highly valued. You should be familiar with the Aged Care Standards and up-to-date with the latest aged care legislation. In addition, any experience in Human Resources or recruitment will be advantageous, as well as familiarity with quality systems. Proficiency in learning new software and basic Microsoft Office skills are also required for this role.

About the Job:

Working closely with our Head of Education & Compliance, and the Recruitment team, this position plays a pivotal role in the recruitment and onboarding of nurses, care workers, and hospitality staff. You will conduct training sessions, ensuring that all staff are well-prepared and equipped to deliver exceptional care to our clients. In addition, you will provide training and support to new graduates during their visits to our clients' sites, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.

Please note that this role entails occasional local travel and out-of-office work. There may also be opportunities for interstate travel to support our recruitment efforts.
