Queanbeyan Industrial Supplies is a family owned and operated business, specialising in supplying engineering and industrial supplies, predominately within the Canberra/Queanbeyan region, as well as interstate. We are seeking a sales/invoicing officer to join our small team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Processing sales orders / invoicing

Serving walk in customers

Taking telephone sales enquires

Checking and responding to email sales enquiries

Invoicing daily and monthly accounts

Processing cash sales

Our ideal candidate:

Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail

Customer service skills and experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proactive and a willingness to learn

Proficiency with computers and sales/accounting software systems

Previous experience in an industrial/engineering supplies environment an advantage

Product knowledge (power tools/safety equipment/abrasives/welding equipment etc) is also an advantage, but not essential.
