The Internal Sales & Administration Coordinator plays a vital dual role in driving sales performance and ensuring operational efficiency. Acting as the engine behind our sales team, this position supports business growth by nurturing client relationships, assisting with quoting and lead follow-up, and ensuring clear and timely communication between teams and clients. You’ll also handle essential administrative tasks that keep our sales function running smoothly.

Sales Support & Internal Sales:

Engage with clients via phone and email to provide prompt and professional support.

Assist with generating quotes, sales proposals, and tender submissions in collaboration with the estimating team.

Follow up on open quotes and active leads, helping to drive conversions.

Manage and maintain CRM records, ensuring sales activities and client data are current and accurate.

Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team.

Take the lead in identifying and researching potential new clients and upcoming projects.

Support pipeline tracking and reporting, working closely with sales representatives to ensure targets and opportunities are monitored effectively.

Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain and prepare sales collateral for presentations and proposals.

Administrative Support:

Process sales orders and documentation, including contracts, variations, and invoicing paperwork.

Maintain accurate client files, job folders, and internal project documents.

Liaise with internal departments (estimating, drafting, production) to support seamless project handovers and client communication.

Support event coordination for client meetings, industry functions, and trade shows where applicable.

Required Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in a sales administration role, preferably within the construction industry.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Proficient in office software (Microsoft Office, CRM systems).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Competent phone manner.
