Medical Receptionist – Primary Health Care

Location: Bairnsdale, VIC
Employment Type: Part-Time (3 days per week)
Hours: 5:30am – 5:00pm

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working Medical Receptionist to join our busy front desk team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in providing exceptional administrative support and outstanding service to our patients and practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

Welcoming and assisting patients with warmth and efficiency

Managing phone enquiries and appointment bookings

Processing patient billing and Medicare claims

Coordinating correspondence and medical documentation

Supporting clinical staff with day-to-day administrative tasks

About You:

Previous experience in a General Practice or medical reception setting is preferred

Familiarity with Pracsoft and Medical Director software is highly desirable

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task in a busy environment with a strong attention to detail

A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Punctual, dependable, and committed to high-quality patient care
