The Role
The Commercial team within the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Program Office (UASPO) is seeking talented and experienced commercial, procurement and contracting officers. As a part of an integrated team, you will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of initiatives to facilitate compliant and defensible procurement processes through the procurement life cycle.
These varied tasks can include:
- Procurement/contracting advice;
- Drafting contract and procurement documentation;
- Supporting contract negotiation, contract establishment and contract administration;
- Supporting Commonwealth Representatives in managing contract related issues and risks; and

Defence may be able to utilise workforce exemptions to mitigate these restrictions, which generally requires that applicants provide details of all current citizenships and permanent residencies, as well as previously held citizenships. Defence collects these details to confirm an applicant’s eligibility for the role and to maintain compliance with international obligations.
