Finer Power Transmissions are seeking an experienced and savvy Wholesale Distribution Business Development Manager to join us on a full-time basis, taking on an internsal sales role with an external component and helping to grow our business with your product knowledge and experience in the industrial market!

The role requires periodic regional travel for up to 2-3 nights in a week. Applicants must be accustomed to regular travel and safely driving long distances.

Tasks & responsibilities

Process internal sales quotes and orders

Preparation of proposals and marketing opportunities for accounts within your portfolio

Assist with calls, emails, and processing of general sales orders when working within the office

Make appointments and visit existing regional customers, distributors, directors, purchasing officers, and key sales staff

Present new products with a view to expanding the range our customers support

Outbound calls to target prospective new distributors within our industry, creating sales leads

Provide Technical Support and attend to detailed product queries

Occasional assistance with warehouse duties in the rare event that shipment back-log needs to be cleared

Requirements

3+ years’ experience in a similar role is ideal, although will consider less experienced quick learners with confident sales abilities as long as it is Australian industry experience

Knowledge of Bearing and Mechanical Power Transmission products and an interest in mechanical engineering or other industrial product markets is highly valued

Intermediate computer literacy, with strong typing skills for efficient emailing and data entry

Confident presentation skills when meeting with businesses to maintain and expand sales relationships

Professional verbal and written communication skills

Strong organisational and time management skills

Comfortable with travel throughout metropolitan Sydney and Regional Territories (NSW & ACT)
