About the area
The Student Load Strategy division leads the development of university-wide student growth plans. It provides critical business intelligence and analytics to support strategic decision-making across UWA. Collaborating across the complex business, the division plays a key role in driving UWA’s student growth agenda.
About the opportunity
- Manage the student load and revenue models ensuring data pipelines, parameters, and structures are accurate and fit for purpose.
- Develop and apply data analytics, statistical models, and diagnostic/predictive tools to interpret data, identify trends, and support university planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
- Design, implement, and maintain quality assurance and usability standards to ensure effective data management.
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in diagnostic and predictive modelling.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Databricks, Power BI, and Excel.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in the Higher Education sector is desirable.
