Metro Utility Worx is a busy, professional civil contracting business located in the Eastern Suburbs, providing a service to utility providers within Melbourne.

We are currently looking for motivated people to work for us in several different positions within our business (Crew Leaders, Plant Operators and Civil Workers/Labourers). All positions will be based out of our Knoxfield depot.

This position requires the right candidate to have some experience on machines from 1.7T - 5T.

Experience with digging near services and a truck licence would be of an advantage.

These positions will be required to carry out a variety of civil related tasks whilst working in a team environment. Training will be provided on an excavator and for horizontal boring to the right applicants.

The role of our civil workers is to carry out installation of underground infrastructure. You will work with a tight knit crew across various sites and be expected to work 8-10 hour days Monday to Friday (with the occasional weekend work) to align with the individual job profiles. These are permanent positions and require an immediate start. The wage is negotiable depending on skill level, qualifications and experience.

A proven candidate will be given additional support for growth in the company.
