About Us
The Queensland LGBTQIA+ Alliance (Alliance) is the inaugural peak body for LGBTQIA+ people in Queensland. The Alliance was founded by 16 members and is initially working through an auspice agreement with the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC) in partnership with the 16 founding members. We are guided by the Pride in our Communities 2024 -2032 strategy to ensure LGBTQIA+ communities are connected, celebrated, safe and supported to live authentically and thrive.

Your position summary
The Business Operations Officer is a newly established and pivotal role supporting the launch and growth of the Queensland LGBTQIA+ Alliance (Alliance), an organisation auspiced by the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (QC). This position functions as a versatile and skilled ‘all-rounder,’ providing essential support across key business areas including finance, payroll, grant writing, business development, and general administration. As part of the inaugural team, the Officer will play a foundational role in building strong operational systems that enable the Alliance to thrive. This work directly contributes to advancing the health, wellbeing, and rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, Sistergirl and Brotherboy communities across Queensland.
