As Sydney's leading neurological allied health practice, we specialise in helping people live better with their neurological conditions and complex therapy needs. We have a mobile community team across Metro Sydney and clinics in Artarmon and Hurstville. Our team work hard together every day to help improve the quality of life of our clients. We are looking for a receptionist for our Artarmon clinic to work Saturdays, who will be responsible for day to day running of administration operations.
The role:
We have a casual or part-time position available, located in our Artarmon clinic to work Saturdays for an immediate start.
We are looking for someone to provide a professional, friendly and efficient front of house experience for all Advance Rehab Centre clients, carers and referrers, as well as support our back office with administration duties, particularly in the referrals team.
This position will require the ability to manage a busy front desk alongside our existing reception team, good organisation skills, attention to detail and excellent customer service in a dynamic environment.
Key tasks and duties will include but are not limited to:
Welcoming clients arriving for appointments
Booking clients and ensuring an efficient diary schedule for therapists
Answering phone calls and emails in a timely manner
Triaging phone calls and transferring to the most appropriate person
Accepting & reconciling payments via phone and front desk
Processing private health fund and Medicare claims through HICAPS
Processing treatment plans
Stock and supply ordering
Communicating and providing support to the wider ARC team
Front line conflict resolution handling
Accurately entering all required data in the practice management system for new and existing patients
Creating new client files and welcome packs
Scanning and uploading documents
Ensuring waiting areas are welcoming and tidy
Opening and closing procedures
This role has scope for growth and development with the opportunity to be trained for involvement in many other aspects of the practice.
You will report directly to the Office Manager and work closely with all members of the therapy team to ensure coordinated care of our clients. We employ a team of skilled Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants.
About you:
Significant customer service experience
A strong administration background, preferably in a rehab center or medical practice environment but not essential
Able to multi-task and enjoy problem solving
A positive, friendly and reassuring manner
Experience with NDIS and health or disability would be an asset but not essential as on the job training is provided
