About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Finance and Payroll Officer to join our Finance team on a part-time, fixed-term basis (30 hours per week) for an initial period of six months, with the potential for extension or permanency based on performance and organizational needs. This critical support role ensures the smooth and accurate operation of payroll and financial processes across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process fortnightly payroll for 350+ employees
· Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies
· Prepare and submit PAYG and superannuation reports
· Process accounts payable
· Maintain records in line with data and document management protocols

About You
You're detail-oriented, thrive in fast-paced environments, and are motivated by supporting others through accuracy and structure. Ideally, you bring:
· 2+ years' experience in a similar payroll or finance role
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and time management
· Confidence interpreting policies, awards, and enterprise agreements
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial/accounting systems
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
