About the role:

• Global Food and Beverage Organization
• Casual ongoing contract with full time working hours
• Monday to Friday on day shift
• Standard working hours (8-4pm)

About your duties:

• Promote a comprehensive safety management strategy
• Ensure continuous improvement in safety practice
• Write and review policies and procedures relating to all areas of OH&S
• Provide guidance and direction to the development of a strong safety culture
• Develop, source and deliver induction and training programmes to ensure a consistent understanding of OH&S and emergency response responsibilities at all levels of the organisation
• Implementing company policies, programs and initiatives for continuous improvement
• Development and review of safety documentation across the site
• Assisting with compliance to the internal inspections and audit schedules
• Lead onsite safety improvement initiatives surrounding safe work, dangerous goods, emergency response.
• Assist with the training and implementation of employee safety across the site.
• Implement approaches and controls for highest safety risks on sites
• Raise and support a continuous growth and understanding of safety culture.

About you:

• 3-5 years of similar experience in food/beverage manufacturing
• Cert IV in health and safety is desirable
• Independent switched on worker
• Excellent communication skills
• Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must also have a car as the facility is not accessible by public transport.
