What you'll be doing
RISU Care Pty. Ltd. is seeking a Client Services Assistant to join our team around South Morang. In this casual position, you will provide ongoing support 4 days per week 9 till 5, alongside the Client Services Manager.
Administrative Support
Maintain and update participant information, including service agreements, care plans, and personal details, in systems such as OneDrive and Brevity.
Assist the Client Services Manager with managing participant schedules, appointments, and any necessary documentation.
Provide general administrative support, including preparing reports, filing, and data entry.
Help coordinate and schedule regular team meetings and ensure documentation is available for discussion.
Support the administration team with scheduling and managing service rosters for participants.
Service Delivery & Support
Support the Client Services Manager in ensuring person-centered care and active support are delivered to participants.
Assist in conducting participant assessments and completing the risk assessments with the Client Services Manager.
Monitor and review daily progress notes, identify concerns, and communicate them to the appropriate team members.
Ensure compliance with RISU Care's policies and procedures, providing accurate updates on participant status as necessary.
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate effectively with participants and their families, ensuring their needs are met and service expectations are fulfilled.
Assist in managing participant feedback, complaints, and compliments, and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
Liaise with external stakeholders, such as healthcare providers and families, to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support the Client Services Manager with stakeholder engagement activities and initiatives.
Monitoring & Reporting
Assist in maintaining monitoring plans and ensure welfare checks and feedback surveys are conducted on schedule.
Help compile reports on participant satisfaction, incidents, hazards, and any other relevant data.
Track and log feedback, complaints, and incidents, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Support the continuous improvement process by contributing ideas and ensuring regular updates to the Continuous Improvement Register.
What we're looking for
Recent experience in the disability, aged, community or health sectors
Experience in development and review of health support plans or other care plans.
Experience supporting People with Disability who have complex and high support medical needs.
Knowledge of continuous quality improvement principles
An understanding of ‘human rights informed’ quality management principles and standards
An understanding of the NDIS key principles
Knowledge of the interface between quality, practice and safeguards in the prevention of abuse and neglect of people with disability
