About the role

Join the team at The Bush Inn as a Front of House Supervisor. This full-time role is based in the charming town of New Norfolk, Tasmania. As the Front of House Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere in our bustling restaurant and bar.

What you'll be doing

Manage and oversee the daily front of house operations, including greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and providing outstanding customer service

Lead, train and motivate a team of friendly and professional wait staff

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the dining and bar areas

Assist with inventory management and ordering of front of house supplies

Liaise with the kitchen team to ensure smooth meal service

Handle cash handling, reconciliation and other administrative duties as required

Promote a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a front of house supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent customer service orientation and communication abilities

Proficient in cash handling, inventory management and administrative tasks

A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for our guests

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
