We specialise in a comprehensive range of marine products including the sales and service of Yamaha Outboards and Waverunners and Kingfisher Powercats.

About the Role:
What we are seeking is an energetic and enthusiastic individual to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our busy workshop and ensure all matters relating to the workshop and the services it provides are achieved, including the sales of spare parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and supervise customer servicing, maintenance, and workshop operations, including job scheduling, quoting, and progress communication.
Manage parts sourcing, ordering, and inventory for workshop and customer needs.
Build strong customer relationships and ensure prompt, courteous service, including complaint handling and escalation when required.
Lead and support the mechanical team through regular feedback, toolbox meetings, and a positive work environment.
Oversee quality control checks on new BMTs, WaveRunners, and repowers, and manage freight receipting and inspection.
Maintain accurate records, uphold workshop safety and cleanliness, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Other:
Adhere to current policies and procedures and ensure behaviour is honest, professional and ethical.
Attendance of training with Yamaha Motor Australia and other external providers (where required).
Attendance at trade shows: setup and/or on-site sales.
Be ready to step in and help out on the tools when necessary.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Valid driver’s license is a must. Forklift, boat and PWC licenses an advantage.
Certification in Marine Mechanics or equivalent mechanical trade qualification.
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the automotive industry.
Wide range of work experience in a mechanical field and demonstrated ability to undertake technical analysis and use problem solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills that demonstrate ability to build positive relationships with team members, management and customers.
Proficiency in sending and receiving email messages, attaching files and navigating the internet. Ability to learn Workshop Management Software.
