Role Purpose:
The role of a Techwell ICT Engineer is to engage with a variety of customers, suppliers and colleagues each day. Your primary responsibility will be to provide the highest levels of service to our valued clients covering most area’s of their ICT, resolving issues for them, giving guidance and recommendations and more. You will have experience in working in a managed service environment. You will work to client and Techwell SLA’s to ensure that the levels of service are executed as per requirement You will work in a tight knit high performing team and contribute to the growth and success for both our Clients and Techwell alike. You will be required to both work in the Techwell office on the helpdesk as well as travelling onsite to service our clients both on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of all Techwell systems and processes. You will enjoy customer interactions and have great people skills.
Key Duties / Responsibilities:
Set up, configuring and deployment of desktops, laptops, mobiles and other ICT Infrastructure
Participate and contribute to a security first culture
Frequent road based travel
Providing on-site and remote troubleshooting of issues escalated by our Service Desk
Providing helpdesk phone support to clients
Conducting installations of networks, servers and software in accordance with customer requirements
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance
Following all Techwell Policies and processes
Adhering to documenting and change management standards in place.
Basic customer training on all installed products
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues using your knowledge, experience and judgment as to the best approach.
Build rapport and maximise customer satisfaction
Provide follow-up support to customers if required
Work with sales and project delivery teams to manage jobs to a successful completion
General project administration duties
Interpreting and understanding supplied solution design
Technical and problem solving assistance to other field technicians
Liaising with key contacts including industry vendors
General stock and inventory management
Required Experience:
PC / Server builds and installations
Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems 10 onwards
Microsoft Windows Server operating systems 2019 onwards
Microsoft Remote Desktop Services
Microsoft Active Directory
Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
Backup Solutions
Virtualisation technologies (VMWare/HyperV)
MacOS Experience
Highly Desirable:
AWS/Azure experience/certifications
Cisco CCNA
ITIL experience/certification
Veeam experience/certifications
N-Able N-Central experience
ConnectWise experience
Checkpoint experience/certifications
Hosted PBX experience
Powershell/other scripting experience
Experience working in a managed service environment
Meraki experience
Microsoft Certified Associate certifications
Cyber Security experience
