Keeden Contracting Pty Ltd is an established civil construction company that have been operating specialist earthwork projects throughout the central west of NSW for over 8 years.

The Role:

Join a well-established and respected civil construction company based in Orange, NSW. As a Leading Hand Concreter, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily concrete pouring and finishing activities on-site. This full-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects while leading a skilled team in a dynamic work environment.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Lead and manage a team to ensure concrete pouring and finishing are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.

Coordinate with site managers, project engineers, and other stakeholders to plan concrete works and promptly resolve any issues.

Conduct inspections and quality assessments of completed concrete work to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Oversee the upkeep and availability of tools, equipment, and materials to maintain productivity and minimise downtime on site.

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

Extensive hands-on experience in concreting, with a strong background in leading and coordinating teams on-site.

In-depth knowledge of concrete practices, including mixing, pouring, and finishing, along with the ability to confidently read and interpret site plans and technical drawings.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with crew members, site managers, and project stakeholders.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure, managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities with confidence.

A commitment to quality workmanship and a proactive approach to safety, ensuring a productive and secure work environment.

Relevant industry qualifications, such as a Certificate III in Concreting, will be highly regarded.
